Log Cabin Section
The Guru mentioned in one of the ITSA forums that we need to practice for the upcoming trials season. So Sunday, me and Captain headed for the Chapel Hill International Twinshock Training Yard (C.H.I.T.T.Y) for some work on our riding skills. When I showed up, Captain was carving out a mean ass section that neither one of us has a chance at cleaning. I swear there are 35 turns in a section the size of a kitchen. After abusing ourselves in that section we reclaimed a section of woods (now that deer hunting season is over) that features the two logs in the following pics/movies. It looks as if someone had started building a log cabin and thought "ah screw it" after placing two logs. But it provided a lot of fun and gave us a chance to practice our bad habits. Enjoy...
I know what your thinking, "If that was his second attempt, I'd hate (or love) to see his first attempt." Amazingly his first attempt was more successful. Sorry about the quick ending to the video but my knee jerk reaction was to shut the camera off and run, so I didn't catch the carnage that soon followed. May have cost the Captain a nubbie...

Hey if you don't give it a go ...you will never figure out what you need to do. The first couple of attemts were pretty scary, but when I figured out that 3d gear and wide open was the deal... no problem. Wooooo.
Damn Captain, we may have to get you a set of football shoulder-mac-pads!
Hey,
I'm just over in Shelbyville, let me know
when your riding in Chapel Hill, if you want another couple of riders.

Nice effort and good film.
Third gear is always best, if you don't have enough room for a run in high.
Damn Dick, do you have to be a candidate for the Nubbie every year? Give somebody else a chance! You could at least wait for the first event.
And yep, that's definitely Nubbie material.
Barry, cool on the quick edit, sometimes the aftermath is better left to the imagination!
After reviewing the video and giving careful consideration to business opportunities, we feel that we should forward this to crash-pads.com
We feel that the Captain could become their poster-child, and crash test dummy for their new trials product line.
They may not know that they need a trials product line, but this video is proof that they do!
